Drake Makes History as First Artist to Headline All Three Days of Wireless Festival

Drake has once again etched his name into the music history books. This past weekend, the Toronto-born rapper became the first artist ever to headline all three days of the Wireless Festival in London. From July 12 to 14, the stage belonged to him — and he delivered on all fronts.

Day 3: Collaborations and Surprises

On Sunday night, Drake began his third and final set by surprising fans with a guest appearance by UK rapper Central Cee. The duo performed a brand-new collaboration that has yet to receive an official release date, generating immediate buzz among fans and media alike.

The excitement didn’t stop there. Drake was then joined by Jamaican dancehall star Popcaan for a rendition of Wizkid’s 2017 hit, “Come Closer.” Following that, he performed fan favorites like “Who Told You,” “Signs,” “Controlla,” and “Find Your Love.”

Nigerian artist Rema added even more energy to the night, taking the stage to perform “Is It A Crime,” “Favourite Girl” with Darkoo, and the global hit “Calm Down.”

A Short but Memorable Set

Despite lasting only around 40 minutes, Sunday’s performance packed in 18 songs. Drake closed his historic Wireless Festival run with an emotional cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You,” along with crowd-pleasers “Hotline Bling” and “NOKIA.”

Day 1 & 2: R&B Nostalgia and Hip-Hop Energy

Drake’s opening night leaned heavily into R&B, delighting longtime fans. He brought out music legends Lauryn Hill, Mario, and Bryson Tiller. The focus was on smooth vocals and heartfelt tracks, setting a soulful tone for the weekend.

On Day 2, the atmosphere shifted. The stage saw high-energy performances and surprise appearances from 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, Latto, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Dave, Skepta, and more. Drake even premiered his newest track, “What Did I Miss?” live for the first time. The song references his recent viral feud with Kendrick Lamar and reflects on the public reactions surrounding it.
