In an interview published by TODAY.com on July 10, the 25-year-old revealed, “We eloped in October, with our families.” The private ceremony took place on Lover’s Leap Bridge in New Milford, Connecticut, a picturesque location fitting the intimate nature of the wedding.
From Hinge to “I Do”
Carmen and Daniel first connected on the dating app Hinge in 2020. Their relationship blossomed over time, and they eventually decided to take the next step. The couple, along with Carmen’s conjoined twin sister Lupita, shared the wedding news in a recent YouTube video titled “Overdue Update!” In the video, Carmen casually announced, “We should probably also address something else pretty big—I did get married.”
Family-Only Wedding
Daniel, 28, emphasized that their wedding was kept intentionally small. “We just had local family,” he said. “As in, not the extended family. I don’t like those weddings where they invite, like, the third cousin twice removed.
